Life Studies and Sketches
Observational drawing and painting from a live model is an integral part of art education, and an incredibly rewarding process to hone one's craft and familiarize oneself with the forms, textures and tones of the body. Below is a sample of my studies, selected to show the range of media and styles I have explored. None of this work was created with the result in mind, yet each piece can serve to highlight what works aesthetically and can inform future work.
